#4 Yusuf Pathan
Although Pathan had made his debut for the Indian team before the IPL when he played in the final of the 2007 World T20 against Pakistan. But his breakthrough year was certainly 2008 where he played a pivotal role in Rajasthan Royals’ triumph in the inaugural edition of the league. The right-hander was at the peak of his powers where he decimated bowling attacks with his brutal power.
Pathan represented India in 57 ODIs accounting for 810 runs at an average of 27 that included 2 centuries. He also featured in 22 T20Is where he scored just 236 runs which was well below par as compared to what he was able to achieve in the IPL. The explosive batsman is still a regular member of the Kolkata Knight Riders unit but he since 2012, he hasn’t been picked to play for India again.
