Delhi Bulls beat The Chennai Braves by 10 wickets
Right then! That is all we have from this game and also from tonight. The action in the Abu Dhabi T10 League will continue on 2nd December with two more matches lined up. The first of those matches sees Northern Warriors take on Bangla Tigers. The match will start at 1800 Local time (1400 GMT). Do join us for those games. Till then, goodbye and take care!
Dwayne Bravo, the skipper of Delhi Bulls, says that he is very happy and in the team meeting they discussed about the game and how important it was to win big in order to have a shot at finishing top two. He adds that the bowlers did a fantastic job tonight and mentions a few names as well. About Gurbaz, he says that the guy doesn't need an introduction, he is a top-class player and is happy for him. Adds that they have qualified but nothing is guaranteed and if they win tomorrow, they'll have a chance of getting into the top two and if not, they'll have to settle but hopes they can get over the line.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz is the Player of the Match, he says that before the match the staff told me to play with natural abilities. Says that he enjoyed cricket but there was pressure early on but there are many senior players in our team and he is very happy.
... Stay tuned for the Presentation ...
The dismal batting performance was followed by an even dismal bowling performance. All bowlers were taken for cleaners right from the first over and the only positive for them was the bowlers had to bowl just 25 balls today and they can take rest now.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz came out all guns blazing and hammered The Chennai Braves bowlers all over the park. He smashed the fastest half-century of this season and Chandrapaul Hemraj at the other end too enjoyed himself in the middle with some boundaries. He smashed a winning boundary but it was Gurbaz who was absolutely fabulous today as he smashed six sixes and five fours in 16 balls he faced.
So a stroll in the park for Delhi Bulls in the end. The target of 81 was never going to be enough but no one had expected it to finish so quickly. It took them just 25 balls to finish this off. They wanted to boost their run rate and they have done it in style. For The Chennai Braves it has been a disappointing end to a lacklustre tournament.
