That is it from this tour. The trophy has been handed over to Dhananjaya de Silva. Bangladesh will be disappointed. Just the ODI series they clinched. A lot of work to be done for them. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Make sure to check the upcoming schedule. Till then, goodbye and cheers!
Kamindu Mendis wins the Player of the Match award and the Player of the Series award. He says he has been working hard with the staff to improve his cricket. Tells he is confident to bowl with the right-arm and got wickets as well.
Najmul Hossain Shanto says they didn't play well, bowlers showed character but the batters were not upto the mark. Adds batters got set but missed out on big scores. Tells they have to prepare for any situation and play more first-class cricket.
Dhananjaya de Silva says it was brilliant to win on a dead wicket. Adds the batters played well in both games. Tells there was not much for the spinners but all the bowlers were on the spot. Reckons they are looking forward to the future matches.

Mehidy was the star for them but the target was way too much. For Lanka, Kamindu Mendis and Lahiru Kumara were excellent. They picked 7 in total and have given their side a massive win yet again.
In the second innings, it was a good effort from the Bangladesh bowlers to pick wickets at regular intervals but despite that, Sri Lanka's massive lead always meant they were well ahead in the game. They set a target of over 500 for the hosts which was always going to be a big task but they put up a really good batting display.
In reply, it was yet another sorry display from the hosts with the bat as they finished with below 200. Asitha Fernando was the pick of the bowler with a four-fer but he was well-supported by the rest too. They managed to get a massive lead and chose to bat yet again.
Yet another easy win for Lanka and they have completely outplayed the hosts in this series. First it was a combined batting effort from them in the first innings where both the Mendis scored 90s to take their side over 500-run mark.

FOUR! A boundary means Ahmed will be on the strike. On off, this is swept through square leg for four. Just what Lanka wanted.
