But as you know, you can always join us early for all the build-up to both matches. Until then, cheers and goodbye!
Sonu Yadav is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his terrific five-wicket haul.
Credit to the Salem bowlers to take it deep! They were 15 runs short of what would have been a competitive score but they did really well to not make it easy for the Kings. Their pacers were really good at the start and the spinners in the middle but we just believe, they did not have enough runs on the board to defend.
Right from the start, the Kings lost wickets at regular intervals but they did manage to string small, small stands and that is what you want chasing a mediocre total. They were along at a good pace so the run rate wasn't a problem. They need someone to play a responsible innings and Laxmesha Suryaprakash did so.
Well, the chase wasn't as comfortable as we thought it would be but they have got over the line in the end. Excellent knock from Suryaprakash. He was under pressure throughout the innings but batted brilliantly to take his side over the line.
