Key batters for the Warriors, including Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer, failed to make significant contributions, while Tim Robinson scored 34 runs. Romario Shepherd and Dwaine Pretorius provided a strong recovery with a partnership over 50 runs, with Shepherd finishing on 50 not out and they helped their side reach a par total of 148 runs.
Guyana Amazon Warriors were good with the ball but in parts. Nathan Sowter was the standout bowler for them, claiming 2 wickets for 37 runs in 4 overs. Moeen Ali delivered an impressive spell, taking 1 wicket for just 5 runs in 2 overs. Shamar Joseph also contributed with a wicket, while Keemo Paul conceded more runs but managed to take a wicket towards the end of the innings. Despite their efforts, the Guyana Amazon Warriors fell short of 10-15 runs.
The Trinbago Knight Riders faced significant challenges during the middle overs of their innings, as their scoring momentum stalled.
