...Presentation next...
Maheesh Theekshana is the Player of the Match. He says he had to lead the spin department and he just kept bowling in the good areas and create pressure. Reckons the wicket was flat in later stages so it was important to take wickets with the new ball. Shares he is just keen to take five wickets.
West Indies knew they were short of runs but failed to make an impact with the new ball.  Even later there were numerous chances but dropped catches occasionally. We feel the only positive from this match for West Indies was Keacy Carty who showed a brilliant fight. West Indies need more young blood and that is what they missed throughout the innings.
A comfortable win for the Lankans. They have showed why they top the group. An excellent batting performance with the bat. It was all due to the opening stand of Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne who did all the work. Almost made it till the chase. Pathum Nissanka with a brilliant ton while Dimuth Karunaratne with a fifty. Later, Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama did the finishing work. Just a casual work for the Lankans.
