David Warner is a legendary batter of the Australian cricket team. Earlier this year, the Aussie batter retired from Test format after playing the Test series against Pakistan. But he is playing the shortest format of cricket. On February 9, Australia and West Indies are locking each other in the first T20 match. In that match, Warner scored an amazing half-century and achieved an exceptional milestone.

Davids Warner has been an asset for the Australian team over the years. He served the country with his excellence. The Aussie great retired from the Test and ODI format but playing T20 cricket with all his excellence. On February 9, Australia is locking horns with West Indies in a T20 game. Warner achieved a brilliant feat in this match. 

While batting first, Warner came to open the innings along with Josh Inglish. In the 7th over, David Warner completed his half-century in 22 balls. That is an interesting knock. On the fifth delivery of this over, Warner achieved another half-century. This was recorded as the 25th half-century of his T20 career. 

This was not the end, he achieved another big milestone. In a historic feat, cricketing maestro David Warner etches his name in the annals of the sport by becoming the first player ever to achieve 50+ scores in his 100th match across Test cricket, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and T20 Internationals (T20Is). Warner’s remarkable consistency and unwavering skill are on full display as he transcends formats, showcasing his prowess and adaptability throughout his illustrious career. 

India vs. West Indies First T20:

In the first T20 match, Australia and West Indies met at Bellerive Oval Hobart. After winning the toss, West Indies decided to bowl first. Opener Josh Inglish was dismissed on 39 runs in 25 balls. Skipper Mitchell Marsh scored 16 runs in 13 balls. David Warner played an excellent knock of 70 runs in 36 balls with 12 boundaries and 1 over-boundary. 

West Indies bowler Alzarri Joseph took 2 wickets in 33 runs. Jason Holder and Andre Russel took one wicket each. Another bowler Romario Shepherd took 1 wicket in 20 runs. Marcus Stoinis got out after scoring 9 runs. In the 16th over, Australia is 159-5.
