Dwayne Bravo, after being ruled out from the Indian Premier League wants CSK fans to encourage the team. In a video message uploaded by the franchise, Bravo commented that the side gave the best despite a poor outcome.

No Bravo for CSK

Dwayne Bravo was ruled out of Chennai Super Kings with a groin injury. The 37-year-old has been a mainstay for the side over the last few years. His exit in the mid-way when CSK are struggling to find their winning ways is definitely a big blow for the team. However, Bravo asked all to keep faith on the side and encourage the team. In a video message, he said, “It’s sad news, it’s sad to be leaving my team CSK. To all our CSK fans, I want you all to keep encouraging the team, keep supporting, all the true die-hard CSK fans.”

The video message was uploaded by the franchise on its Twitter handle where Bravo promised that the team would make a strong comeback. “Keep supporting us and I can guarantee you we’re going to come back stronger and better like champions. One of the most successful franchises, I feel we should be proud to be members and fans of CSK.”

On CSK’s performance

Dwayne Bravo, while speaking about the poor season that CSK has experienced so far, said, “This wasn’t a season we expected or our fans wanted, but we gave it our best. Sometimes, despite giving our best, the results don’t show.” Bravo did not forget to remind the fans of CSK that the team has won three IPLs in the past.

Bravo due to the injury couldn’t bowl the final over against Delhi Capitals in a match in Sharjah on October 17. This, according to a lot was a major reason of the final outcome of the match. Bravo has played six games and scored only seven runs in two innings and picked up six wickets at an economy rate of 8.57. For Chennai Super Kings, who have been already dealing with the absence of Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina have had a tough season so far in the league. This is a rare occasion for the side to lose seven matches out of 10 games. No wonder going ahead without Bravo will make things tougher for Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side.
