IPL 2024 has finished its 15th game. In the 15th match of the IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bengaluru faced Lucknow Super Giants at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The match was one of the most thrilling matches of the season. But Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s hard luck continued. But in the second innings, LSG bowlers showcased some amazing bowling displays that impacted the Purple Cap list. 

Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Average Bowling:

In a thrilling showdown, the Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl first, setting the stage for an intense battle against the Lucknow Super Giants. The RCB bowlers showcased their prowess early on, with Glenn Maxwell making a breakthrough by dismissing LSG’s captain, KL Rahul, with a stellar delivery. Following this success, Mohammed Siraj joined the action, claiming the wicket of Devdutt Padikkal with just 6 runs on the board for LSG, adding to the pressure on the opposition.

As the innings progressed, the RCB bowlers continued to dominate, with Maxwell striking once again to dismiss Marcus Stoinis, further denting LSG’s batting lineup. However, Quinton de Kock emerged as a formidable force for LSG, putting up a valiant effort with a remarkable score of 81 runs before falling prey to Reece Topley’s delivery in the 17th over. Yash Dayal further compounded LSG’s woes by dismissing Ayush Badoni without a single run to his name. With a stellar bowling performance, RCB successfully restricted LSG to a total of 181 runs, setting the stage for an intriguing chase in the remainder of the match.

Lucknow Super Giants’ Match-Winning Bowling Performances:

While bowling in the second innings, LSG bowlers found their form a little later. Manimaran Siddharth, who came as an impact player dismissed Virat Kohli on 22 runs. Faf du Plessis was dismissed on an exceptional run-out by Devdutt Padikkal. Those were big setbacks for RCB. Mayank Yadav came to bowl and showcased his excellence. 

He took three big wickets of Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, and Rajat Patidar. Naveen ul Haq dismissed Dinesh Karthik on 4 runs. That was another crucial wicket. He ended the innings after dismissing Mohammed Siraj on 12 runs. Yash Thakur and Marcus Stoinis took 1 wicket each. They won the match by 28 runs,
