Southern Super Stars are underway! Tossed up on middle, Martin Guptill punches it to long on for a couple of runs.
We are back. Shreevats Goswami and Martin Guptill to open for Southern Super Stars. Parvinder Awana comes in for Dwayne Smith. Spin to start, here is Ashley Nurse.
...THE CHASE...
Southern Super Stars were absolutely delighted at the halfway mark. Abdur Razzak bowled a magnificent spell consisting of two maidens and a wicket in it, the way it was going, it felt like Southern Super Stars will keep India Capitals under 100 but one dropped catch shifted the momentum away. Ben Dunk quickly realised it was his day and didn't spare a single bowler after it. The last over of the innings summaries us that this is still a tricky wicket to bat on but Southern Super Stars need someone to play a blinder to chase this down as we feel the Capitals' bowlers will be itching to go out and bowl on this pitch. Stay tuned for the second essay.
A tale of two halves for India Capital - On a turning pitch, they were clearly struggling to get going. The top order struggled dearly as all of them were fell while trying to hit hard and were reeling at around 50 runs at the halfway mark. However, the fortunes were changed once Ben Dunk and Ashley Nurse joined hands in the middle. There was absolute carnage once they started taking on the Southern Super Stars bowlers and in double quick time scored a lot of runs. Ben Dunk, who got lucky, if not wrong five times scored a wonderful fifty while Nurse scored a brilliant 40 as well.

Leg bye! This is full and on leg, Colin de Grandhomme looks to sweep but misses. An appeal for LBW but it was pitching outside leg.
OUT! BOWLED! Fifth time lucky? No, says Karia. A slider, full and on middle, it stays very low. Dunk swings and misses and it hits the stumps. Ben Dunk has played a magnificent hand here.
