Suresh Raina says credit to Chris Mpofu as he bowled really well. Tells his team bowled well in the first half but India Capitals scored plenty and took the momentum away. Shares they have to give thier best shot in the next game. Ends by appreciating the crowd for their incredible support.
There was not much difference between the bowlers of both teams. The spinners showed a lot of fight while the pacers went for plenty. It was all about who kept their nerves and in the end it was Chris Mpofu in the last over who despite going for a six and bowling a couple of wides, kept his cool till the last ball.
India Capitals won the toss and chose to bat. They finished with an above par total thanks to the crunch hitting from Ben Dunk and Ashley Nurse and also a valuable late flourish from Colin de Grandhomme. Toyam Hyderabad with the bat started really well, they kept the run rate in check despite losing wickets regularly. There was a time when George Worker fell that it felt like the game was over but Peter Trego came in with a lot of hope and dealt some powerful blows. He and Binny made up their mind to chase it down but as said earlier, Binny's run out changed the future of the game.
Two games in the Legends League Cricket and we had two nail biting finishes. Both games went to the wire and on both occasions, the bowling team won the match. Chris Mpofu held his nerve but boy it got tense. There were two big moments in the game. First, in the 18th over when the no ball went for a six and secondly when Binny got run out.
