142/5(20.0ov)
Khulna Tigers
144/1(14.2ov)

Khulna Tigers beat Sylhet Sunrisers by 9 wickets

That’s it from this game then! Another game follows and that is a clash between the Challengers and the Victorians. That game begins at 1700 IST (1130 GMT). Till then, goodbye and take care.
Khulna Tigers skipper, Mushfiqur Rahim says that they have been playing really good cricket but have lacked in the finish and he's really happy with both the bowling and batting performance. He adds that in the day game there is always something for the bowlers at the start and the bowlers did get the early breakthroughs and it was certainly a 170 wicket. Mentions that the openers were brilliant today.
Andre Fletcher is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his brilliant knock of 71 runs off 47 balls. He says that he batted well and was happy about the fact that he saw the team home. Mentions that the bowlers are to be credited today and the way they played today is due to the coaches who inspired them. He mentions that the wicket had a bit of an extra bounce and he and Soumya decided to be watchful at the start and target the spinners.
The losing captain, Mosaddek Hossain says that the wicket was definitely not worth a low score like 143. He mentions that he and Mithun tried to cover up runs in the middle but it wasn't enough. He adds that when the big names in the side don't step up, it gets difficult and shows his dissatisfaction about the bowling performance.
Time for the Presentation...
Really can't blame the bowlers to be honest! The wicket seemed to have flattened out quite a lot. Their batters just did not put enough runs on the board. Saying that, the bowlers too let the Tigers' batters score freely by giving away quite a few freebies. They were just under par in all departments and were completely outplayed.
A dominating win then for Khulna and a much-needed one! We did feel 143 may have been a challenging target but it was brushed off easily. The openers got them off to a flier. The two added one short of a ton before Sarkar fell. Perera then was promoted up the order probably to finish the game quickly and he did do so with a few meaty blows. Fletcher though was the mainstay with an aggressive 50-plus score.
