South Africa beat West Indies by 284 runs

Temba Bavuma is handed the trophy as South Africa win the series quite convincingly. That's it then! We shift our focus to the ODI series. These two will meet on 16th March at 4.30 pm IST (11 am GMT) for the first game. Do join us early for the coverage. Cheers!
Temba Bavuma is the Player of the Match. He thanks the crowd first to witness the game and see them win. On his knock, he was happy to convert it to a big one and is satisfied with his knock. Reckons this is a brave team, they played a team which suit the conditions and it turned out well with all players contributing. Shares they are building a team which wins and hopes to put more happy faces in the crowd.
Aiden Markram is the Player of the Series. He says it is satisfying to get back in the Test team and win. Adds there is too much desperation while they are nearing a milestone and he took some learning this time as he got out in the 90s and hopes to do better next time. Reckons Temba Bavuma needs match-winning contributions and the skipper played one in this match.
Kraigg Brathwaite says the bowlers had a really good series. Adds they though didn't score enough runs and that is what they will look closely away from home. Reckons they took some good steps, with bat and ball but in crucial times they crumbled. Shares they will focus on the series against India now. Feels they have to work on their flaws and players need to have belief in themselves on the ground. On his form, he is disappointed, he was feeling good but he was dismissed early and says he has to lead from the front.
...Presentation time...
Their bowlers were good to begin with but Bavuma's knock took the game away from the visitors and then South Africa's bowlers came to the fore to give their side a big win. The only upset was the big injury to Keshav Maharaj but other than that it was a complete team effort.
Windies though were always chasing the game, first their bowlers did well, to bowl the hosts out for 320 as they were only two down for over 200. The batting however, failed as the top and the middle order did not contribute a lot. Had it not been for the lower order, the lead would have been a lot bigger for South Africa.
We though still believe the knock from Bavuma was the game changer, had he not risen to the occasion, South Africa's lead wouldn't have been as big as it was, it may not have even crossed 300. He walked out when his side was in trouble but the Windies could not capitalize and his knock took his side to a massive total which needed something special from the Windies batters if they were to chase it down and that did not come. The top order was completely rattled. Joshua Da Silva and Jason Holder came out in the second session with intent and aggression but it didn't stay live for a long time.
Another thumping win for the hosts and they have won the series 2-0. An excellent bowling performance from them in the second innings and it was a combined effort from them to seal a massive victory.
