After the World Cup 2023, India and Australia are locking horns in a five-match T20 series. In the first two matches, India registered wins and in the third match, Australia snatched the win. On December 1, India and Australia faced each other at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. In that match, Ruturaj Gaikwad became the fastest Indian to complete 4000 runs in T20.

Ruturaj’s Achievement:

In the fourth T20 international against Australia, Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad made an amazing record. He became the fastest Indian batter to complete 4000 runs in T20. That is a great record. While opening the innings, Ruturaj and Yashasvi gave a decent start. Within a few times, he touched the milestone. 

In the last match, he made another record. In the third T20 international against Australia, he played an unbeaten knock of 123 runs. That set the base of India’s innings. While scoring that century, he became the first Indian batter to score a century against Australia in T20 international. In this series, he is in great form. 

Match Tour:

India and Australia met in the fourth T20 international in Raipur. After winning the toss, Australia decided to bowl first. While batting first, Rururaj and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a good start. Yashasvi got out by scoring 37 runs in 28 balls. He smashed 6 boundaries and 1 over-boundaries. Shreyas Iyer came back in T20 after the World Cup through this match. That was not a desired comeback. He scored 8 runs in 7 balls and walked away.

 Skipper Suryakumar Yadav got out after scoring only 1 run. Ruturaj is batting on 27 runs in 25 balls including 2 boundaries and 1 over-boundary. Rinku Singh is standing on 20 runs in 14 balls. Aaron Hardie, Tanveer Sangha, and Ben Dwarshuis took 1 wicket each. On the 13th over, India is 107/3.
