What is up with Ngidi’s left ankle?

South African pacer Lungi Ngidi’s potential to take crucial wickets is what has helped South Africa to move further into the World Cup, in some instances. But, there is really something up with his left ankle since the Proteas competed with India last Sunday. Today in the match against Afghanistan, after bowling his first overs and the first two balls of the third over, he had to leave the field in between when he experienced some sprain in his left ankle. He was soon attended by the team’s physio and advised to rest. At his place, Aiden Markram concluded the incomplete over but Ngidi is likely to bowl in the next overs to complete his delivery.
