After a long time cricket lovers across the globe are enjoying red-ball encounters. Australia and Pakistan met in Perth for the first test of the three-match test series. After a long, test cricket came back. In this match, David Warner silenced all the critics. He scored a magnificent hundred. But a particular shot by him to Shaheen Afridi caught the attention.

Australia is locking horns with Pakistan in Perth for the first test. Australia had a desired start. On the last test series of his career, David Warner shined again. Before the test series, a lot of criticism was going over his form and farewell. He is playing an excellent innings. He is going to end his test career on high.

In the second session of the first day, Warner was unstoppable. He was smashing almost every ball. The Pakistani pace attack was not up to the mark. Warner took advantage of it. In a delivery of Shaheen Afridi, Warner played a mesmerizing scoop shot. Shaheen targeted the middle stump with a fuller delivery. Then Warner went on the back foot and scooped the ball from the middle stump line. The ball flew over the fine-leg fielder. That shot leaves the spectators and commentators in awe.

After winning the World Test Championship, David Warner announced his retirement from the longest format of cricket. This series will be his last series. He will play his last test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. A lot of criticism was going over his form before this test series. His former teammate Mitchell Johnson criticized him brutally.

But with his excellent batting masterclass, he silenced all the critics. In the first test against Pakistan, he scored an unbelievable ton. He gave an excellent start to Australia’s innings along with Usman Khwaja. Both of them added 126 runs in the opening partnership. After Khawaja’s dismissal, he carried forward the innings. He scored a century and still fighting on the crease. David Warner is unbeaten on 123 runs in 159 balls. He smashed 15 boundaries and 2 over-boundaries. This Aussie opener is going strong. Australia is dominating the opponent.
